Join Jeremy Turkington at Hometree HQ's organic native tree nursery for an Autumn Seed Saving Workshop as part of our volunteer day on 19th September. Discover the importance of saving local provenance seed for the preservation, resilience, and restoration of our oceanic woodlands, while learning practical techniques for collecting, cleaning, and storing seeds from a variety of native tree species.
This day is for all, old and young, fierce and delicate. Whether you're an experienced grower or completely new to seed saving, this hands-on session will foster valuable skills and insights to empower stronger connections with your local woodlands and wild beings. Come along to break bread, learn, and share knowledge and stories.

What: Tree planting, nursery and maintenance day + lunch provided

10:00 am - Welcome, induction and briefing of the day
1:00 pm - Vegan lunch
4:00 pm - Finishing the day
