Join Hometree for a hands-on restoration day

A day focused on nature restoration works at our Gleneaskey site. The day will focus particularly on invasive species control, using mechanical methods to carefully remove and control these species and prevent them from spreading further.

Come along, get stuck in, and learn more about the challenges of invasive species management and the practical work involved in restoring and protecting local habitats.

What to Expect

This is a day to roll up your sleeves, pull on your wellies, and get your hands in the soil while helping to make your area greener and more biodiverse.

No experience is needed, full guidance will be provided, and you can work at your own pace. Come along, connect with nature, and help restore your local landscape

What to Bring

• Bring a shovel if you have one.

• Sturdy footwear (boots or wellies recommended).

• Warm, weather-appropriate clothing and gloves if you have them.
