Join us for a community tree planting day at our restoration site in Co Clare. It’s a great way to get outside, meet locals, and help make our area greener and more biodiverse.
This is a day to roll up the sleeves, put your wellies on and enjoy getting your hands in the soil planting native trees!
What to Expect:
10am to 12pm: tree planting at lllaun Restoration Site, Miltown Malbay, Co Clare. Illaun Location
12pm to 2pm: join us for tea/coffee, lunch at Miltown Malbay Community Centre and Q&A with a Hometree forester. Miltown Malbay Community Centre Location
Each participant will receive a native tree bundle to take home.
No experience needed. Guidance provided. Work at your own pace.
Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times.
What we provide:
Facilitation and guidance on planting native trees
Shovels and trees
Tea, coffee and lunch at Miltown Community Centre at 12pm.
What to Bring
Bring a shovel if you have one.
Sturdy footwear (boots or wellies recommended).
Warm, weather-appropriate clothing and gloves if you have them.
A good sense of humour — tree planting is a root cause worth supporting!
