As part of February Climate Action, join us for a Community Tree Planting and Woodland Creation Day in conjunction with Hometree.

Join us for a fun and friendly Community Tree Planting Day in beautiful Boley, Laois. It’s a great way to get outside, meet locals, and help make our area greener and more biodiverse.

This day is organised by Brian Meredith & Vito Romito & Hometree Together, we’ll plant 500+ native trees, creating habitat for biodiversity and taking action for our planet.

What to Expect
A friendly, hands-on planting day in a beautiful farm setting. Learn about Woodland Creation schemes with Hometree Forester Several native Irish tree species planted across the site. Work at your own pace, no experience needed, guidance provided. Every participant is invited to stay for refreshments, lunch will be provided after the planting with soft drinks, tea, coffee, biscuits, and crisps while celebrating the impact you have made. A gazebo will provide shelter if the weather turns.

What to Bring

  • One shovel between two people (essential for planting).

  • Sturdy footwear (boots or wellies recommended).

  • Warm, weather-appropriate clothing and gloves if you have them.

  • A good sense of humour — tree planting is a root cause worth supporting!
